The universal input design can perfectly match with most types of plug except the Type M-big South Africa 8.7mm plug. It would be your better choice when your travel appliances have two types of plug. Furthermore, the appropriative pins of plug adapter which can fully match with the wall outlet of your travel destination have better electrical conductivity than universal pins. So using proper types of plug adapter is recommended.

Plug adapters can not convert voltage, please check the voltage standard of the travel destination first when using equipment with plug adapter. Use a proper voltage converter along with a plug adapter if your appliance is incompatible with the country/area's voltage. Most of Europe, Asia, Oceania, Africa countries/area use mainly 220-230Volts, North and Central America use mainly 110-120 Volts.
