Operation
This thickness gage is a measuring instrument which has a dial gage or a digimatic indicator for quickly and accurately measuring the thickness or outside diameter of a workpiece. To operate this instrument, first hold the frame and push down the lifting lever by the thumb. The spindle will move up and the contact point move from the anvil, providing a space that allows a workpiece to be inserted. Next, insert the workpiece in the space, then slowly move down the spindle to take a reading on the indicator scale.
